Front-Veteran's Supplement

Front-Veteran's Supplement is payable to men and women residing in Finland who have been granted one of four service badges. Applications for the badges are no longer being received.

Also persons residing abroad are eligible for Front-Veterans’ Supplement provided that they have received one of the four badges. Recipients outside Finland are usually paid twice a year.

Front-Veteran's Supplement can also be paid to those who have a certificate from the National War Archives showing that they participated in mine clearing operations between 1945 and 1952. Applications for the certificate are no longer being received.

Amount and payment

The amount of the Front-Veteran's Supplement is EUR 47.55 per month and it is paid on the same dates as national pensions. Income or assets do not have an effect on the amount. The supplement is free from tax.
