Meal subsidy for higher education students

By presenting a valid student ID or a meal subsidy card issued by Kela, you can get a student discount in subsidized student restaurants. Kela pays the difference between the full price and the discount price to the operator of the restaurant. The meal subsidy programme is for higher education students, for vocational education students eligible for financial aid, and for students attending specialization programmes.

If you do not have student ID, contact your school to obtain a meal subsidy card.
