Unemployment status report

After you have been issued Basic Unemployment Allowance, you must renew your status as an unemployed job seeker by reporting regularly to Kela. For this purpose use the form TT 2e (Unemployment status report). This way Kela will know whether you have been unemployed, working or training.

You can either fill in the paper form or send the report online at www.kela.fi/asiointi (in Finnish and Swedish only). To use the online service, you need your Internet banking access code or electronic identity card.

If you work during a period in which you are registered as unemployed, you must provide documentation from your employer showing the period of employment, the hours worked and the amount of wages.
