<h1>Notification of changes</h1>

<p>Please remember that you must notify Kela without delay if your circumstances change in a way that might affect your eligibility for the Conscript's Allowance. This includes such changes as</p>

<ul>
	<li>interruption or end of service</li>
	<li>change of the conscript's or his/her family member's income or</li>
	<li>end of maintenance liability for a child or change in legal guardianship.</li>
</ul>

<p>Kela will review the eligibility for the Conscript's Allowance if the circumstances of the recipient or an eligible family member change or the need for the Allowance changes. Such changes include starting work and the birth of a child. Eligibility is reviewed starting from the date when the change took place. For instance, if you start work or your child is born on 16 May, your eligibility will be reviewed starting from that date.</p>

<p>An eligibility review is not triggered by a change of income resulting from a one-time payment in respect of a past period.</p>

<h1>Ilmoita muutoksista, jotka vaikuttavat sotilasavustukseen</h1>

<p>Jos elämässäsi tapahtuu muutoksia, jotka voivat vaikuttaa sotilasavustuksen saamiseen, ilmoita siitä heti Kelaan. Ilmoita Kelaan esimerkiksi jos</p>

<ul>
	<li>palvelus keskeytyy tai päättyy</li>
	<li>asevelvollisen tai omaisen tulot muuttuvat tai</li>
	<li>lapsen elatusvelvollisuus päättyy tai huoltajuus muuttuu.</li>
</ul>

<p>Kela tarkistaa sotilasavustuksen, jos avustuksen saajan tai siihen oikeutetun omaisen olosuhteissa tai avustuksen tarpeessa tapahtuu muutos. Muutos voi olla esim. työn aloittaminen tai lapsen syntyminen. Tarkistus tehdään muutospäivästä lukien. Jos esim. työsuhde alkaa tai lapsi syntyy 16.5., sotilasavustus tarkistetaan 16.5. lukien.</p>

<p>Sotilasavustusta ei tarkisteta tulojen muutoksen vuoksi, jos tulo on kertaluonteinen ja kohdistuu kokonaan takautuvaan aikaan.</p>

<h2>Toimeentulotuki on viimesijainen tuki</h2>

<p>Voit hakea Kelasta <a href="/toimeentulotuki">perustoimeentulotukea</a>, jos kaikki tulosi ja varasi ja muut sinulle myönnetyt sosiaalituet eivät riitä välttämättömiin arjen menoihisi,&nbsp; kuten ruokaan ja asumiseen.</p>

<h1>Anmäl förändringar</h1>

<p>Du minns väl att du snabbt måste meddela FPA om det inträffar sådana förändringar i dina omständigheter som kan påverka ditt militärunderstöd, t.ex. om</p>

<ul>
	<li>tjänstgöringen avbryts eller avslutas</li>
	<li>den värnpliktiges eller en anhörigs inkomster förändras eller</li>
	<li>underhållsskyldigheten för ett barn upphör eller det sker förändringar i vårdnaden.</li>
</ul>

<p>FPA justerar militärunderstödet om det sker en förändring i understödsmottagarens eller en till understöd berättigad anhörigs omständigheter eller i behovet av understöd. En sådan förändring kan t.ex. vara att man börjar arbeta eller att ett barn föds. Justeringen görs från den dag förändringen inträffade. Om t.ex. anställningsförhållandet inleds eller barnet föds 16.5 justeras militärunderstödet fr.o.m. 16.5.</p>

<p>Militärunderstödet justeras inte till följd av en förändring i inkomsterna om inkomsten är av engångsnatur och i sin helhet är retroaktiv.</p>

<h2>Utkomststöd är ett stöd som beviljas i sista hand</h2>

<p>Du kan ansöka om <a href="/utkomststod">grundläggande utkomststöd</a> hos FPA om alla inkomster, tillgångar och sociala förmåner som du har inte räcker till för de utgifter som är nödvändiga i det dagliga livet, såsom utgifter för mat och boende.</p>
