The kela.fi pages for online forms are being revamped


The contents will be more user-friendly and new features will be added

The forms are arranged by category. You can, for example, search for forms related only to housing benefits or sickness benefits via the menu.

New features:

  • If it is possible to apply for a certain benefit directly online, a link leading to the online service is provided next to the downloading link for the form.
  • It is possible to sort forms in the List view either by name or by form code.
  • There is a separate menu for forms related to social assistance.

You can search for forms by their code by using the search function (at the top right-hand corner of kela.fi). Write the letters and numbers of the code without any space in between, for example dv256 or OT1. You can use either capital or lowercase letters.

Due to the revamp, the links to the forms have been modified. In order to ensure that the old links are functioning properly, they have been redirected.

Most Kela benefits can be applied for online – It’s simple and convenient

You need your online banking codes or a mobile certificate to log in to the online service. Supporting documents can also be sent through the online service. Documents photographed with a mobile phone are accepted if the pictures are clear and legible.

You can also access Kela’s online service (in Finnish and Swedish only) to check if your application has been decided, the amount you will receive and when payment will be made.
