Limited basic reimbursability for certain medicines

With certain expensive medicines, the availability of basic reimbursements is limited. Reimbursements are available only if they are used for the indications specified by the Pharmaceuticals Pricing Board. This group includes medicines used in the treatment of MS and Alzheimer's.

In order to be reimbursed for these medicines, you must submit Medical Certificate B to Kela. An application is typically not required.
