Letter mail from Kela slightly delayed

Printing outage at Kela causes delay in sending letters and decisions. The letter mail delay does not affect benefit payments.

Although decisions and letters sent by post may be delayed, Kela will pay benefits into customers’ accounts normally. Customers can check decisions concerning benefits in Kela’s online customer service, where the decisions can be viewed shortly after they have been issued. Customers who cannot use the online service can check information about decisions and supplementary statements by calling Kela’s customer service number.
