If you decline offered work or training
The TE Services can deny your right to unemployment benefit for a specific period of time if you decline offered work or training without an acceptable reason. This is called a period without benefit.
Kela will not pay you labour market subsidy for the period for which the TE Services has issued a statement regarding a period without benefit. When the period without benefit is over, you can again receive an unemployment benefit from Kela. For periods of participation in employment promoting measures the benefit can be paid despite a period without benefit being set.
