Kela builds system platforms for social security and well-being services

Kela employs about 600 IT professionals who are involved in creating and maintaining the large-scale information systems crucial to Kela’s service.

Kela manages, among other things, the information systems for social benefits and the archive. Kela is quite self-reliant when it comes to information technology, and creates and develops most solutions and applications in-house.

Thanks to excellent connections and systems, many among our IT staff regularly work remotely from a Kela's customer service points or from home. We offer flexible work arrangements for all staff members to meet individual needs and accommodate changing life situations.
