A technical problem has been discovered with the OmaKela e-service. Applications for general social security benefit and general housing allowance cannot be submitted

Due to a problem with the OmaKela e-service, some users are unable to apply for general social security benefit and general housing allowance.

The problem was discovered at 6.45 on 25/07/2026 and its cause is being investigated.

En störning har upptäckts i MittFPA: Det går inte att ansöka om allmänt stöd och allmänt bostadsbidrag

En del användare kan inte ansöka om allmänt stöd och allmänt bostadsbidrag i MittFPA på grund av en störning.

Störningen började 25.07 kl. 6.45 och orsaken till den utreds som bäst.

When you visit a service point, bring proof of identity, such as your passport or driver’s licence. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you need <a href="https://www.kela.fi/authorising-another-person"> a specific power of attorney</a> from that person and proof of your identity.If you bring your online banking credentials or a mobile certificate, you can manage your Kela-related affairs on a self-service computer at the service point.You are permitted to bring a guide dog, an assistance dog or a government working dog to a service point.
