<h1>Kela’s terminological glossary</h1>

<p>The new edition of <a href="https://sanastot.suomi.fi/terminology/kela">Kela’s terminological glossary 7 (suomi.fi) </a>contains 603 concepts including terminological records and conceptual schemas.</p>

<p>The glossary is bilingual (Finnish and Swedish). It contains links to relevant legislation in the Finlex service. It is freely available to all.</p>

<h1>Kelan termit</h1>

<p>Kelan terminologinen sanasto on Kelan julkiseen käyttöön tarkoittama sanasto. Sanaston tavoitteena on yhtenäistää, vakiinnuttaa ja selkeyttää Kelan hoitaman sosiaaliturvan käsitteistöä ja edistää Kelan ja sen yhteistyökumppanien välistä tiedonvaihtoa järjestelmällisen sanastotyön avulla.</p>

<p>Sanasto on Kelan ja Sanastokeskuksen laatima. Kelan terminologinen sanasto, versio 7 on julkaistu joulukuussa 2025.</p>

<h1>FPA-termer</h1>

<p>Folkpensionsanstalten (FPA) och Terminologicentralen sammanställer den terminologiska ordlistan FPA-termer. Detta är den sjunde upplagan av ordlistan.</p>

<p>Den terminologiska ordlistan FPA-termer är avsedd för offentligt bruk. Syftet med ordlistan är att genom systematiskt terminologiskt arbete harmonisera, befästa och förtydliga begreppsapparaten inom den sociala trygghet som FPA handhar och att främja informationsutbytet mellan FPA och olika samarbetspartner.</p>

Kelan terminologinen sanastossa on käyty läpi lähes 500 Kelan etuuksiin liittyvää termiä. Kustakin termistä on myös ruotsinkielinen vastine.

I den terminologiska ordlistan FPA-termer finns ca 500 förmånsrelaterade begrepp som gäller de förmåner som handhas av FPA. Den ger också de svenskspråkiga motsvarigheterna till alla termer.

<p>When you visit a service point, bring proof of identity, such as your passport or driver’s licence. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you need <a href="https://www.kela.fi/authorising-another-person"> a specific power of attorney</a> from that person and proof of your identity.</p><p>If you bring your online banking credentials or a mobile certificate, you can manage your Kela-related affairs on a self-service computer at the service point.</p><p>You are permitted to bring a guide dog, an assistance dog or a government working dog to a service point.</p>

Customer service points where service is provided by Kela’s employees. You can get personal advice in all Kela-related matters.
