<h1>Kela has sent a late payment reminder about the student healthcare fee to some 46,000 students</h1>

<p><strong>Late payment reminders were sent to higher education students who registered as attending by 30 September 2022 but did not pay the student healthcare fee by the due date.</strong></p>

<p>The due date is 30 September 2022 for students in higher education who registered as attending for the autumn term by 30 September 2022. Altogether about 230,000 students paid the healthcare fee by the due date.</p>

<p>Some 46,000 students have yet to pay the healthcare fee. Kela has now sent these students a late payment reminder which includes a EUR 5 fixed late fee, which is set by law. The 4,500 students who paid the healthcare fee after the due date will receive a reminder from Kela about the late fee only. The payment reminder letter can also be viewed in the OmaKela e-service.</p>

<p>The healthcare fee that higher education students must pay to Kela covers all of the services available from the Finnish Student Health Service. There are no other fees for service or per-visit charges. The 2022 rate of the student healthcare fee is EUR 35.80 per term.</p>

<h1>Kela on lähettänyt maksumuistutuksen maksamattomasta terveydenhoitomaksusta noin 46 000 opiskelijalle</h1>

<p><strong>Korkeakouluopiskelija saa maksumuistutuksen, jos hän on ilmoittautunut läsnä olevaksi viimeistään 30.9.2022, mutta ei ole maksanut terveydenhoitomaksua eräpäivään mennessä.</strong></p>

<p>Terveydenhoitomaksun eräpäivä oli 30.9.2022 niillä korkeakouluopiskelijoilla, jotka ovat ilmoittautuneet syyslukukaudelle läsnä oleviksi viimeistään 30.9.2022. Noin 230 000 opiskelijaa maksoi maksun eräpäivään mennessä.</p>

<p>Maksu on edelleen maksamatta noin 46 000 opiskelijalla. Kela on nyt lähettänyt näille opiskelijoille maksumuistutuksen, johon on lisätty laissa säädetty 5 euron kiinteä viivästymismaksu. Eräpäivän jälkeen maksun on maksanut noin 4 500 opiskelijaa, ja heille Kela on lähettänyt maksumuistutuksen pelkästä viivästymismaksusta. Maksumuistutuskirjeen voi lukea myös OmaKelassa.</p>

<p>Kelalle maksettava korkeakouluopiskelijan terveydenhoitomaksu kattaa opiskelijalle kaikki Ylioppilaiden terveydenhoitosäätiön (YTHS) palvelut. Muita palvelu- tai käyntimaksuja ei peritä. Vuonna 2022 terveydenhoitomaksu on 35,80 euroa lukukaudessa.</p>

<h1>FPA har skickat en automatisk betalningspåminnelse om obetald hälsovårdsavgift till cirka 46 000 studerande</h1>

<p><strong>Betalningspåminnelsen har skickats till högskolestuderande som har anmält sig som närvarande senast 30.9.2022 men som inte har betalat hälsovårdsavgiften senast på förfallodagen.</strong></p>

<p>Förfallodagen för hälsovårdsavgiften var 30.9.2022 för de högskolestuderande som anmält sig som närvarande för höstterminen senast 30.9.2022. Cirka 230 000 studerande betalade avgiften senast på förfallodagen.</p>

<p>Ungefär 46 000 studerande har ännu inte betalat avgiften. Till dessa studerande har FPA skickat en betalningspåminnelse i vilken det också ingår en lagstadgad fast dröjsmålsavgift på 5 euro. Efter förfallodagen har avgiften betalats av cirka 4 500 studerande, och till dem har FPA skickat en betalningspåminnelse som enbart gäller förseningsavgiften. Brevet med betalningspåminnelsen kan också läsas i MittFPA.</p>

<p>Hälsovårdsavgiften för högskolestuderande som betalas till FPA täcker alla de hälsovårdstjänster som Studenternas hälsovårdsstiftelse (SHVS) tillhandahåller. Inga andra serviceavgifter eller besöksavgifter tas ut. År 2022 är hälsovårdsavgiften 35,80 euro per termin.</p>
