Kela has suspended the procurement of products for the 2026 maternity package. The decision was made in response to lower than expected demand for the package, which in turn is due to a decline in the birth rate. Kela will launch a new procurement as soon as possible.

Kela has issued an invitation to tender for the products included in the 2027 maternity package. Sustainability, durability and quality are emphasised in the tender process. Customer feedback has also played a role in the development of the maternity package.

Kela intends to streamline the processes involved in implementing social security by reforming its benefit administration systems and the target-state services these systems will facilitate. Kela has selected PricewaterhouseCoopers Business Services SRL as its strategic partner for the reform after conducting a competitive dialogue in accordance with procurement law.

Kela has issued an invitation to tender for an additional procurement round for the products included in the 2026 maternity package. The additional procurement round is a consequence of the upcoming increase in the value of the maternity grant.

Kelan nimissä liikkuu tällä hetkellä paljon huijausviestejä, joiden kautta rikolliset yrittävät saada haltuunsa suomalaisten pankki- ja henkilötietoja. Esimerkiksi sähköpostiviestissä voidaan luvata hyvitystä Kelalta. Viestin vastaanottajaa saatetaan pyytää muun muassa avaamaan linkkejä, kirjautumaan verkkopalveluun pankkitunnuksillaan tai lähettämään omia tietojaan. Kalasteluviesteillä kerätyt tiedot voivat päätyä rikollisten käsiin.  Kela ei koskaan kysy henkilötietoja sähköpostilla tai tekstiviestillä. Lue lisää huijauksista.

Just nu sprids ett flertal bluffmeddelanden som ser ut att komma från FPA. Via dessa meddelanden försöker brottslingar komma åt finländares bankuppgifter och andra personuppgifter. Till exempel i ett e-postmeddelande kan det utlovas ersättning från FPA.  Mottagaren av meddelandet kan bland annat bli ombedd att öppna länkar, logga in i en e-tjänst med sina bankkoder eller skicka personliga uppgifter.
