If you are interested in working for a reliable employer and creating positive change while working as part of a cohesive team, we could have the right job for you.

Working with other professionals at Kela, you get to do work that matters and create wellbeing for everyone in Finland. We encourage our employees to grow as experts in their individual fields.

Our staff are important to us. We welcome staff of all ages and backgrounds. We encourage our employees to create a friendly and relaxed workplace community and to try out different approaches that can improve workflow. In yearly surveys, we have received positive ratings from our staff on the general atmosphere at work.

We take care of our staff

In addition to work that matters and an experiment-friendly working culture, we offer excellent benefits such as comprehensive healthcare, meals and a voucher programme that subsidises sport and cultural activities. Our healthcare plan includes dental coverage. Some of our offices have a staff cafeteria that serves lunch daily.

In addition to the voucher programme, we provide our staff the opportunity to engage in various types of sport and cultural activities with coworkers or by themselves.

We are a flexible and family-friendly workplace

We are a reliable employer and offer flexibility depending on individual circumstances. A good work-life balance is important to us. We do our best to enable our staff to have the kind of flexibility that allows them to cope with unforeseen events in their personal lives.

Over the past several years, we have taken steps to adopt family- and father-friendly practices and to promote equality at the workplace. According to staff surveys, perceived work-life balance has improved, particularly between the two latest surveys.

For our efforts to create a more family-friendly workplace, Kela was in May 2021 awarded the Family Federation of Finland’s recognition as a Family Friendly Workplace.
