Maternity package 2025

The 2025 edition of the maternity package contains 38 different products.

Maternity package, all products

Apply for the package no later than 2 months before the expected due date.

If your estimated due date is on 1 April 2026 or later, you will get a maternity package and EUR 40

The maternity grant (äitiysavustus) has been raised from EUR 170 to EUR 210. If you choose to get a maternity package (äitiyspakkaus) as your maternity grant while the 2025 edition is still in stock, you will get the package and EUR 40 to make up the difference. Remember to give us your bank account number in the OmaKela e-service so we can pay the difference to you.

If you pick the maternity package after the new edition becomes available, you will only get the maternity package. This is because the purchase value of the next edition will be EUR 210.

Check the products in your maternity package as soon as you get the package. Please contact the distributor of the package if products are missing from the package or if you notice any defects in the products.

Tell the distributor about the missing or defective products within 2 weeks of the day when you got the package.

If a product breaks later in normal use, tell the distributor about it within 6 months of the day when you got the package.

You will get a new non-defective item in return.
