Customer service for individual customers

You can get service in English by calling Kela or by visiting some of our customer service points where we offer service in English. Most of our forms are also available in English.

If you cannot communicate with Kela in Finnish, Swedish or English, you can manage your affairs with the assistance of an interpreter.

Official mail from Finnish authorities now primarily digital

Suomi.fi Messages will be activated for you when you log into OmaKela as of the 14 April 2026. From then on, you will receive mail from authorities in Suomi.fi Messages instead of paper mail.
