<h1>Financial assistance</h1>

<p>Participation in most of the rehabilitation services available from Kela is free of charge. You may be entitled to a <a href="/rehabilitation-allowance">rehabilitation allowance</a> for the duration of the rehabilitation. It safeguards your income during rehabilitation.</p>

<p>Usually you receive reimbursement for rehabilitative psychotherapy already in connection with the visit. If this is not the case, you can claim reimbursement from Kela afterwards.<a href="/rehabilitative-psychotherapy-how-to-apply"> Read more about psychotherapy invoices</a>.</p>

<p>Kela also offers <a href="/travel-costs">compensation for rehabilitation-related travel costs</a>. For more information on the compensations for travel costs, see the Sickness section of this website.</p>

<p>If you are between 18 and 19 years of age, and the goal of the rehabilitation is to help you move into working life, you can get a <a href="/rehabilitation-allowance-for-young-persons">rehabilitation allowance for young people.</a></p>

<p>The purpose of <a href="/start-up-grant-for-self-employment">the start-up grant for self-employment</a> is to help self-employed persons and entrepreneurs with an illness or impairment to start up a business and to acquire necessary tools and equipment.</p>

<h1>Taloudellinen tuki</h1>

<p>Kelan kuntoutukseen osallistuminen on yleensä maksutonta. Voit saada kuntoutuksesi ajalta <a href="/kuntoutusraha" target="_self">kuntoutusrahaa</a>. Se turvaa toimeentuloasi kuntoutuksen aikana.</p>

<p>Om du är mellan 18 och 19 år och målet för rehabiliteringen är att komma ut i arbetslivet kan du få <a href="/rehabiliteringspenning-for-unga">rehabiliteringspenning för unga.</a></p>

If you are acting on behalf of another person, you need a specific power of attorney from that person and proof of your identity.</p><p>If you bring your online banking credentials or a mobile certificate, you can manage your Kela-related affairs on a self-service computer at the service point.</p><p>You are permitted to bring a guide dog, an assistance dog or a government working dog to a service point.</p>
