Our user support services help you use Kela’s e-services. The support services are meant for everyone who wants to use our e-services to manage their affairs but needs a bit of help.

Technical support
If you have technical problems when you use the OmaKela e-service and you need help, send an email to tekninentuki@kela.fi. The technical support team cannot answer questions related to Kela benefits or how to use OmaKela.
Security
The OmaKela e-service is safe and secure to use. Log in to OmaKela on Kela’s website at kela.fi. Remember to log out of OmaKela after your session.

Browser settings
The OmaKela e-service works best in the most recent versions of popular browsers. OmaKela may not function correctly if you use an older version of your browser to access it. You cannot use Internet Explorer to access OmaKela.
If you have problems with using OmaKela, check the following settings:
- JavaScript is enabled
- your browser supports SSL encryption
- cookies are enabled in your browser.
OmaKela outages
The OmaKela e-service is out of use from 2.30 to 4.00 every Sunday due to regular maintenance breaks. OmaKela may also be out of use between 6.00 and 8.00 on Thursdays. You cannot access OmaKela when it is out of use.
We make major updates to OmaKela 4 times a year. During that time, you cannot use OmaKela for about one day. We may add new features or functions to OmaKela during the updates.
We publish information in advance about when OmaKela will be out of use and for how long on our website at kela.fi.
