<h2>Opening hours over Easter</h2>

<p>Service points that are open on Maundy Thursday, 2 April 2026, will have different opening hours than usual. The service points that are open that day will close at 13.00 at the latest, but some of them will provide service to customers in need of urgent social assistance until 16.00.</p>

<p>Kela’s service points will be closed 3–6 April 2026.</p>

<p>If you need to take care of anything related to Kela's benefits and other services, you can visit a Kela service point, a joint service point for public authorities or a remote service point.</p>

<p>You will need to book an appointment in advance for some Kela service points. <a href="/call-kela">Call our customer service number</a> so that we can book an appointment for you. You can also handle everything related to Kela on the phone by calling our customer service. Please note that it is not possible to call specific service points or make an appointment at a service point online.</p>

<p>When you visit a service point, bring proof of your identity, such as your passport or driver’s licence. If you are <a href="/on-behalf-of-someone">acting on behalf of another person</a>, you need <a href="/authorising-another-person#power-of-attorney">a power of attorney</a> from that person and proof of your identity.</p>

<h2 data-element="faq-title">What is the difference between a Kela service point, a joint service point and a remote service point?</h2>

<p>At Kela service points, service is provided by Kela employees. You can get personal advice in all Kela-related matters.</p>

<p>Joint service points are operated by several public authorities and they can provide general guidance on Kela’s benefits and services. At joint service points, service is provided by the municipality’s employees. You can submit applications and supporting documents to Kela at joint service points. </p>

<p>At remote service points, you can talk to a Kela customer service specialist using a video connection. You can take care of anything related to Kela's benefits and other services. Please note, however, that you cannot submit paper applications and supporting documents at all remote service points.</p>

<p>Kiirastorstai 2.4.2026 vaikuttaa avoinna olevien palvelupisteiden aukioloon. Avoinna olevat palvelupisteet menevät kiinni viimeistään klo 13, mutta osa päivystää kiireellisen toimeentulotuen tarvitsijoita varten klo 16:een asti.</p>

<p>Skärtorsdagen 2.4.2026 påverkar öppettiderna för de serviceställen som har öppet den dagen. Serviceställena stänger senast klockan 13. Vissa av dem har dock jour till klockan 16 för personer som behöver brådskande utkomststöd.</p>

<p>FPA:s serviceställen är stängda 3–6.4.2026.</p>

<p>På FPA:s egna serviceställen får du hjälp av FPA:s personal. Du får personlig rådgivning och handledning i alla FPA-ärenden.</p>

<p>På myndigheternas gemensamma servicepunkter får du allmän handledning om FPA:s förmåner och tjänster. Vid en servicepunkt blir du betjänad av kommunens anställda. Du kan lämna in ansökningar och bilagor till FPA vid servicepunkterna. </p>

<p>Vid ett distansserviceställe får du videokontakt med FPA:s kundservicespecialist och du kan på så sätt sköta alla dina FPA-ärenden. Observera dock att det inte är möjligt att lämna in pappersansökningar och bilagor vid alla distansserviceställen.</p>
